In the harsh climate of the Sonoran Desert of Arizona it's amazing that the mighty saguaro cactus live for as long as they do. But, like anything in nature, death does come and what is left of a saguaro is a skeleton made of it's wooden ribs. And even in death there is a certain beauty of what remains as seen in this color photograph by Bill Tomsa titled "Death in the Desert".
