The rocky coast of Maine near Boothbay Harbor, combines with fluffy cumulus clouds on the horizon and cool blue waters of the Atlantic ocean as beachcombers hunt for treasures of sea glass and shells in this color photograph by New England artist and photographer Bill Tomsa.

After 2 years at SUNY on Long Island and 4 years active duty in the United State Marines, I enrolled and studied Graphic Design, at Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York. Afterwards I held several design positions and was the Art Director for an affiliate network TV station for 12 years. In the late 1990s I shifted my focus to my fine art career and photography. My paintings have been juried into and won awards in competitions and group shows in Maine and Arizona.
