Artist's Description

Crossing, a plein air acrylic painting by artist Bill Tomsa, depicts a railroad crossing in the West Valley of Phoenix, Arizona near Surprise at the intersection of N. Reems Rd. and W. Olive Ave.
Edit: unfortunately this “scene” no longer exists as most of the right side of the image has been built out with several giant warehouses. A very common sight now occurring in the western part of the “Valley of the Sun”.
