The green, yellow and red lobster traps on the right hint at this being a coastal New England scene. Lubee Lane is located at one of my favorite painting sites known as Mackerel Cove on Bailey Island, Maine. The road or "lane" curves back towards several buildings but, being only one of thousands of private roads here in Maine, I've never ventured down it.

After 2 years at SUNY on Long Island and 4 years active duty in the United State Marines, I enrolled and studied Graphic Design, at Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York. Afterwards I held several design positions and was the Art Director for an affiliate network TV station for 12 years. In the late 1990s I shifted my focus to my fine art career and photography. My paintings have been juried into and won awards in competitions and group shows in Maine and Arizona.
